A gentle 8 week Yoga course for beginners

There comes a point where pushing through no longer works.

Where your body feels tired... youe mind feels full....

And you realise you dont want another intense class - you want something softer.

This 8 week course is a gentle introduction you Yoga, designed especially for beginners, or for anyone who feels disconnected from their body,

This is not about getting it right.

Its not about flexibility or performance.

Its about learining how to feel safe in your body again.

What to expect 

Slow, beginner- friendly movement

Simple breathwork to support your nervous system

Deep rest and guided relaxation

A calm, supportive space with no pressure to perform

You'll be encouraged to move at your own pace, take breaks when you need to, and listen to your body throughout.

This course is especially for you if :

You feel anxious, overwhelmed, or burnt out

You've never tried Yoga before (or didnt feel comfortable in classes)

You want something gentler and more therapeutic.

You're ready to begin reconnecting with yourself, slowly.

A different approach to Yoga 

This course is rooted in the understanding that the body and mind are deeply connected.

Stress, anxiety and emotional experinces dont just live in our thoughts - they are held in the body too.

Thorugh gentle movement, breath, and rest, we begin to soften that holding and create a sense of safety from within.

This is a space where you can begin to :

Notice what your body is holding

Reconnect with how you feel and learn how to respond to yourself with more care.

A space for Women 

This course is created with women in mind.

Many women spend years, overgiving, pushing through exhaustion, feeling disconnected from their needs.

Here, the focus is on slowing down, listening inward, and rebuilding a relationship with your body that feels supportive rather than demanding

About your guide

This course is led by Lesley Anne Parfitt. 

Qualified psychotherapist and womens coach, trauma - aware approach to working with the body.

550 RYT specialising in Menopause Yoga and Trauma informed.

I use Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin practices to support women through somatic healing. ​
